Happy Halloween!
In honor of my least favorite holiday of the year, I’m going to jump on the bandwagon with a game of two truths and one lie. If you are one of the first 3 people to discover the lie (and you live in the US), you will win a prize. The contest stops next Thursday morning.
Here we go:
1. I love to travel which led to an interest in transportation. Along with my feet, I’ve gone place to place by: bike, car, cab, bus, tow truck, motorcycle, plane, train, subway, trolley, cable car, alpine cable car, incline, carriage, horse drawn carriage, scooter, pedicab, ship, sailboat, canoe, rowboat, raft, tube, yacht, golf cart, ski lift, elevator, escalator, moving sidewalk, horse, donkey, elephant, and camel. However, I have never been in a hot air balloon.
2. When I was in college, I took a class in botany. This led to me spending a day at the governor’s mansion in Albany, NY. The majority of the day was spent in the greenhouse studying their collection of rare orchids and African violets. At one point I sneezed and bumped into a table sending a pot airborne. I caught the pot before it hit the ground and shattered. I can still hear my class gasping.
3. When I was doing the final “walk through” of PROVIDENCE before the official copy went to hard cover, I decided to weave a secret message to my children into Chapter 7. I’ve written down the code needed to decipher it and will give it to them in ten years if none of them have figured it out on their own by then. Hopefully, at least one of my children will have inherited my love for puzzles.
So which two are true and which is the lie? You can leave your answers in the comment area or e-mail me. I hope your day is filled with treats!

I’m thinking number three is the lie….very curious to know the truths!
